  Email us at spiceroutesupperclub@gmail.com to receive your invitation to our next event. Once you receive the invitation, reply promptly to secure your place at our table. Our gatherings number around twenty people. Because Asha cooks each of these meals herself, we can’t tailor event menus to individual dietary needs. If you have allergies, please ask us about specific ingredients when you reply to the invitation. Some of the event menus are vegetarian, so check back on the blog frequently for updates.

• Meet Asha

  "My passion for cooking was ignited by the four women who created culinary magic in my mother’s kitchen growing up in Kerala. My mother and her three sisters each expressed their personalities and influences through their cooking. The intoxicating aromas that wafted through our communal family kitchen cast their spell early in my life. I was taught that the truest expression of Indian hospitality was best conveyed by the generosity of sharing our cuisine. I have been fortunate to absorb the multi-faceted heritage of Kerala. Its centuries of diverse cultural influences allow me to tell a unique story through food and conversation. I look forward to our meeting and our sharing of the ancient culinary legacy of Kerala—and other regions of India—brought to light in the present day at Spice Route Supper Club."

• An extraordinary taste of Kerala, India

  Indian home cooking differs enormously from the food served in most Indian restaurants. The flavors are fresher, brighter, and taste more distinctly of India’s many regional cuisines. Spice Route Supper Club is your invitation to experience the scents and spices of a home kitchen. Though Asha hails from Kerala, the Southwestern state of fragrant fish curries and coconut-laced beef (yes, beef in India!), her cooking at our supper club events explores the breadth of India’s amazing culinary traditions. We prepare five-course meals (including wine, beer, and/or tea pairings) themed around a region, an ingredient, or Asha’s whims.
